The closed one

Washington. Every brand we review refuses registrations there and none is quietly routing around it. State law on online play is harsher than anywhere else and operators have decided the exposure is not worth carrying. The account simply will not open.

The four that depend

Idaho, Michigan, Montana and Nevada are handled brand by brand as internal policy rather than statute. One accepts you, the next declines. Where a brand publishes its exclusions we record them, but the rulebook is what settles it.

The remainder

Broadly available with age doing the gatekeeping. Eighteen is standard and a handful insist on twenty-one whatever local law says, so check which before completing a form rather than after.

Location checks

Geolocation fires at registration and again at withdrawal. Routing around it with a VPN breaches the terms at every brand we reviewed, and the usual outcome is a closed account with the balance stranded. Stranded balances do not get paid.

A caveat

We measure cashiers, we do not practise law, and promotional statute moves. Orient here and decide from the brand rulebook. An operator accepting your registration has already formed the only opinion that carries weight.
